Urban City Founder and Choreographer Shaun Angel had the pleasure of choreographing new Swedish pop sensation Lillvi's new music video earlier this month.
Having dancers at hand, Shaun and the team quickly looked at some of their older dancers from Urban City and were able to match up dancers with the brief for this poptastic and colorful pop music video. The Urban City boys and girls grabbed the experience with both hands impressing everybody on set including Lillvi. Their work ethic and professionalism was second to none.
Giving their students unique performance opportunities and equipping them with the essential skills to work as a professional is the sole aim at Urban City Dance, projects like this are golden opportunities for training dancers.
This brand new single will be released at the end of this month. Lillvi channels the sounds of 1980's synth pop and new wave in the new offering; both bright and vibrant with mellow but uplifting instrumentation, infectious electro-pop hooks and stand out vocals. Colorful melodies and undeniably catchy lyricism are at the forefront of the track with layered synths and often-reverberated vocals nodding towards the nostalgic sounds of the 80's whilst winking at influences from today's pop greats.
